Prozos Teshev Yerusholayim

This joyous Chabad niggun is an old one, originally sung without words. At the farbrengen of Yud Tes Kislev 5729 (December 10, 1968) the words “Prozos Teshev Yerushalayim” were added to it. The Rebbe spoke about the then-recent miracle of the liberation of Yerushalayim and requested that, in that spirit, these words be sung. It speaks of Yerushalayim’s complete liberation at the time of the Geulah, and expresses our hope, trust and longing for it.
