Uforatzto

A happy marching song, evidencing an unfaltering purpose to spread the light of the Torah throughout the world.

In 1958 the Rebbe reminded his followers of the Ba'al Shem Tov's injunction: לכשיפוצו מעיינותיך חוצה - "Let the fountains of Chassidism flow forth throughout the universe" and instructed them to implement it without regard to obstacles or hardships. He suggested that the text of Uforazto, which expresse the same thought, to a suitable melody. This stirring march (Dubrovneh Niggun) was selected and has since become a favorite with the Chassidim at their periodic gatherings with the Rebbe.

The Rebbe would from time to time sing uforatzto to the tune of Dayenu.
